With a foreign licence: your passport, an International Driving Permit (1949 Geneva Convention) and your home licence. For licences from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Taiwan, Monaco and Slovenia, an official Japanese translation can be used instead of the IDP. With a Japanese licence, the licence alone is enough. Please also bring a credit card in the main driver’s name.
